Facultative mutualism  (n.)  A type of mutual relationship in which the interacting species derive benefit from each other but not being fully dependent that each cannot survive without the symbiotic partner.

Limbs hanging from an arm of a tree; sandy cheeks; bare feet on the forest floor; hair floating like seaweed as the tide recedes. An ongoing endeavor to physically reconnect with the earth, nudes intersect with arrangements of found organic matter in the natural environment.  dear andy (facultative mutualism) is a homage to the ephemeral works of British artist and environmentalist Andy Goldsworthy.
